October has been full of excitement here at Des Arc Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, and we’ve loved every minute of it.
Earlier this month, we joined in the town’s spirit as Des Arc High School celebrated Homecoming. A few of our wonderful staff members helped escort our residents outside to enjoy the Homecoming Parade as it passed by. The floats from the Homecoming Court were absolutely stunning this year, and of course, the best part… loading up on candy. There’s nothing quite like the joy of waving to the parade and catching sweet treats.
But the fun didn’t stop there. Our team hosted a late-night movie night for a few of our residents, complete with pizza and Coke. It was the perfect way to wind down and enjoy some cozy time together. Laughter, good food, and great company made it a night to remember.
